There are lots of ways you can help Red Emma's:- Join the collective!
- First and foremost, the collective is always looking for people who share our vision and dedication to become a part of the project. Currently, we ask that people come to a Sunday meeting(every week at 7PM) and introduce themselves. At that point, we'll get you scheduled for some training shifts, and then you can start helping out behind the bar. We ask that people volunteer for 3 months(just for 5 hours a week) after they decide they want to join the collective so we can get to know them better and decide if they are a good fit for the collective. We also ask prospective members to participate in one of our many committees that oversee the various areas of the project.

- Not ready to commit to joining the collective? Red Emma's is always looking for people who just want to help out when they can, whether that be by working behind the bar, helping with food prep, ordering books, flyering for Red Emma's events, or tabling at events. Come by a Sunday meeting and introduce yourself!
- Make a donation
- Financial contributions are always welcome, especially with the start-up expenses of our potential new space looming ahead of us. We're able to accept tax-deductible contributions - just drop us a line at info@redemmas.org. We're also looking for financing in the form of no-interest loans. - And maybe the most obvious way is to just simply come by and buy things at Red Emma's, and to encourage people you know to do the same. Every coffee and every book we sell helps pay our rent, fund our events and keep our worker-owned, democratically-managed space alive.

Red Emma's is open Monday through Saturday from 10AM-10PM, and Sunday from 10AM-6PM. Our weekly collective meetings are Sunday at 7PM, and are open to anyone interested in the project, except for the first Sunday of every month, which is closed to everyone except collective members.
